Minimally invasive treatments are available to treat spine fractures, uterine fibroids, varicose veins, peripheral artery disease, cancer and more. With each procedure, a fellowship trained interventional radiologist uses imaging to guide catheters or other instruments through the vascular system or into organs to the precise area where treatment or diagnosis is needed. This minimizes damage to healthy tissue, results in virtually no scarring and allows the patient—in most cases—to return home in 24 hours or less.
